Henry Ford may have said, "History is Bunk!" but he wasn't much of an historian. Churchill, on the other hand, said "History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it." The writing, editing, and publishing of history occupy a large place in the world of letters and in the book trade, as well as a large part of any serious reader's bookshelf. I've been fortunate to work with some truly fine, original writers of history. Here are a few of the many works of history I've been privileged to publish.
