Capture, Bold Escape, and Lonely

Exile of Philip Ashton

by Gregory Flemming

2014

ForeEdge Trade Books

Everybody loves pirate stories, and I knew this one was an original as soon as I read the proposal. Greg Flemming spent years researching and writing this story of a young Massachusetts fisherman kidnapped by pirate Edward Low in 1725. The manuscript that became At the Point of a Cutlass was a pleasure to work on, and the book spent six weeks on the Boston Globe bestseller list in the summer of 2014.
