Justin, Charles & Co. was a boutique trade publisher in Boston, and as such the conventional wisdom was to specialize and do one thing well. We partly heeded that advice and partly not, but the heeding part involved setting up a license agreement with one of the best and coolest mystery bookstores in the country for a crime fiction imprint. We published a lot of very cool books under the "Kate's Mystery Books" banner. These are some of the coolest.
